Rain, sea spray, a hot tub, swimming, sweating or tight damp clothing before that rinse can disturb the developing guide colour and create avoidable marks.

After the first rinse, swimming is possible, but chlorine, salt water, long soaking, hot temperatures and repeated towelling may shorten the wear. Pat dry instead of rubbing and moisturise after the skin is clean and dry.
