Keep access simple
Room, warmth and floor space
The pop-up tent contains the application area, but it still needs a stable clear patch of floor and enough room to enter, stand and change position safely. Move small tables, laundry, pets' bowls and fragile objects before Francesca arrives. Keep the path from the entrance to the room clear so the kit can be carried in without navigating clutter.
A comfortably warm room is useful because the customer may be standing with limited clothing during the application. Privacy matters too: choose somewhere other household members do not need to pass through. A nearby plug socket can be helpful if required. If the room is upstairs, has restricted parking or needs a special entrance, include that in the booking message.
You do not need to buy protective equipment or create a salon. Francesca brings the professional tent and mobile kit; the goal is simply safe access and a clear private space.
Prepare before the visit
Skin should be clean, calm and product-free
Exfoliate in advance, paying attention to dry areas without over-scrubbing. Complete shaving or other hair removal before appointment day where practical so the skin has time to settle. On the day, avoid moisturiser, body oil, perfume and deodorant on the areas being sprayed because they can create a barrier.
Tell Francesca before booking about allergies, sensitive skin, recent cosmetic or medical treatments, sunburn, open cuts, irritation or another relevant concern. A mobile appointment is not the time to hide something because the diary is tight. It may be better to adapt or postpone.
- Remove jewellery where practical.
- Tie long hair away and keep a simple hair tie available.
- Finish household jobs involving water before the appointment.
- Use the toilet and wash hands before application to reduce avoidable water contact afterwards.
Comfort comes first
Plan privacy and what to wear
Decide what you are comfortable wearing during the application and ask Francesca if unsure. Keep loose, dark clothing ready for afterwards: relaxed trousers, a roomy top or loose dress, and loose footwear usually reduce pressure. Avoid fitted waistbands, restrictive straps, tight socks, leggings and denim during development where possible.
If the instructed rinse means sleeping first, prepare loose dark breathable nightwear and suitable bedding. Necessary support, accessibility and safety needs always take priority over generic clothing advice, so mention them when booking.
Protect the development window
Plan the hours after Francesca leaves
Know when and where the first rinse can happen. A standard solution may use an 8-10 hour planning range and a rapid option may use 2-4 hours, but follow the exact product-specific instruction given. Stay dry and avoid exercise, cleaning, washing up, rain, swimming, heat and friction until then.
At the rinse, use lukewarm water, do not scrub and pat dry. Moisturise once the skin is clean and dry, then continue regularly. The guide colour washing away is normal, and the final colour can continue settling after the shower.
